IN•TEC has developed ambient curing epoxy resins suitable to reline different kinds of pipes based on their need to support the chemical attack of the transported fluids.
The epoxy resins are used to impregnate the liners and ensure the final conformation of the liner and the mechanic and physical characteristics that guarantee the resistance to chemical aggressions (not corrosion). The specific feature of the epoxy system used in the IN•TEC relining is its capacity to cure underwater, which means total inertia to the presence of water in the working phase, and the possibility of a greater time control in the curing phase: reactivity is variable and based on the hardening agent chosen.
